As Director of TI India's Corporate Business, Sham
drives India business strategy to accelerate the semiconductor
ecosystem. His role involves partner alliances, key
business relationships with telecom operators, public
affairs and policies. In addition to this, Sham is responsible
for growing TI's education initiatives in India.
Prior to this role, Sham headed TI's Systems and Embedded
Software Development Operations in India. This included
software products for TI's DSP Systems, Advanced Embedded
Control, Wireless and DLP businesses. In 1996, Sham
led the team that developed the first commercial Digital
Signal Processor (DSP) to be designed entirely in India.
Under his leadership, over five hundred advanced DSP
labs and numerous industry/university joint projects
are operational throughout India as part of TI's worldwide
University Program. Before coming to India, Sham headed
TI's IC Design Operations in the UK and TI's Worldwide
EDA operations for Signal Processing Products in the
USA, respectively.
Sham has over 28 years of product development and business
experience with TI in the semiconductor and software
industry worldwide. Sham holds a BSc. (Honours) degree
in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from the University
Of Newcastle_Upon_Tyne (UK).
